The Center for relationships

The Center for Relationships was established with a focus on all relationships in our lives. Find a relationship specialist here to focus on how to improve the quality of your relationships and your life.

Every day we each connect with many others around us.  Certainly we experience the reality of interacting with others in positive and negative ways.  These connections include our spouse/romantic partner, our parents, siblings, children, family members, co-workers, and community connections.

It is distressing whenever these relationships seem to go wrong.  Life can become difficult and filled with conflict, and anxiety and depression may increase.  Altogether it can be hard to function in every aspect of life, but this can change.

But there is Hope.

You can have a positive connection with your partner, your family, your business partner or co-workers, or whatever connection you would like to improve.  When you get the help of a caring professional, this can change your relationship distress.  Our work together will improve your experience in your relationships.

what to expect from a Relationship specialist

Working with a relationship specialist will help you develop skills in identifying harmful interaction patterns in your relationship.  Because of this new understanding of negative interactions, you will be able to learn to rework those patterns and gain better connection between you and others, creating a greater sense of safety and security in your life.

Trisha Wilson, relationship specialist

I believe that every person desires a stronger, better, and healthier life.  Strong connections in relationships are essential to this healthy life. It is an honor to join my clients as they explore their desired changes.  It is important for the therapy setting to be a safe place.  As a result, a powerful place of connection happens.  Then healing and health is encouraged and supported.  Because this impacts all other relationships in life.

Education

I received my degree as a marriage and family therapist from George Fox University.  Most importantly, the training made clear that we are all engaged in systems that have an affect on us and our relationships: our family, significant others, our work, our social connections, and the community and world we live in.

My undergraduate degree is from Azusa Pacific University in Applied Management.   As a result of my degree and extensive business experience, I have a strong understanding of business influences in daily work life.
